Request deletion of your data

Anyone can ask Liftwork to delete the personal information we hold about them. There is no fee, and you do not need an account with us.

What data Liftwork holds

Depending on how you have interacted with us, or with a business that uses Liftwork, we may hold:

• Your name, email address, company, and the content of any message you sent us, along with the IP address and browser information recorded when you submitted it.
• Your contact details and interaction history, as part of a customer list belonging to a business that uses Liftwork to run its marketing.
• Information about you obtained through a Google or Meta account that a business connected to Liftwork — for example a comment, message, review, or lead form submission associated with that business's page or advertising account.

What gets deleted

On a verified request we delete the personal information identified above from our production systems. Where deleted records persist in system backups, they are removed within a further 90 days, as those backups expire.

How long it takes

We confirm receipt of your request within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days. If we need more time, or more information to verify your identity, we will tell you before that deadline.

When we cannot delete everything

We will tell you if any of these apply to your request:

• We are not the decision-maker. Where we hold your information on behalf of a business that uses Liftwork, we forward your request to that business and act on their instruction. We will tell you who they are so you can contact them directly.
• The law requires us to keep it. Billing, tax, and certain transaction records must be retained for statutory periods.
• We need it for a legal claim. Information relevant to an active or reasonably anticipated legal dispute may be preserved until it is resolved.
• The platform holds its own copy. Deleting your data from Liftwork does not delete it from Google, Meta, or any other platform. Use that platform's own tools to remove records it controls.

Data connected to Facebook or Instagram

If you interacted with a business through Facebook or Instagram, you can remove Liftwork's access in Facebook under Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites. To have the associated data deleted from Liftwork's systems as well, submit the form below.
